Why work with

When I started working as a young Realtor, the most valuable advice I received from a very experienced agent was simply, "Listen".  So simple, but so brilliant!  That one word has defined my philosophy as a Realtor for decades.

Each client is unique.  Each client has different needs, preferences, and goals.  My job is to listen, understand, and find solutions to help my clients have a positive experience and achieve their real estate goals.

This is especially important when working with senior clients and their families.  In the fast-paced world of real estate, it takes patience & awareness to customize a plan to minimize stress and coordinate a smooth transition.

Why focus on seniors and their families?  As a young senior myself and the daughter of an elderly widowed parent, I am very much aware of the different needs of seniors.  As a long-time Realtor, I am also very familiar with the significant ways that the real estate industry has changed since many seniors have last bought or sold a home.

In addition to seniors themselves, I have great empathy for the adult children of seniors who want to help and protect their parents.  If my senior clients desire it, I am happy to include their adult children (or others they may rely on) in communications.  Selling real estate in this manner takes time, patience, and attention to detail - but it is worth it!

Seniors Real Estate Specialist®/Certified Seniors Housing Professional® is uniquely qualified to assist seniors in housing sales and transitions.  The SRES® professional designation is only awarded to Realtors who have completed additional education in issues specifically important to seniors and their families. The CSHP® designation is awarded only to a select number of elite real estate professionals in any market who serve the distinct needs of seniors & their families and who have completed a rigorous educational curriculum, competency-based exam, and thorough application process. In becoming both an SRES® and a CSHP®, I have made a commitment to better understand the needs of mature adults and to provide an unsurpassed level of expertise, compassion, and individualized personal service to my clients.
